A:  4 ji desu ne.   Soshite, nan-ji  ni  owari-masu  ka?

B:  5 ji gurai  ni  owari-masu  yo.

A:  Soo desu ka.  doomo.

A: What time will the meeting start?

B: Let me see…., It will start at 4pm.

A: 4pm…. And what time will it end?

B: It will end around 5pm.

particle 「ni」  =    at (time, o’clock) , on, in ; “ni” is used with time expressons such as day, month, year and clock time to indicate a specific point in time.

1.  Watashi  wa  kesa  7 ji  ni  oki-mashita.   /  I got up at 8 this morning.

2.  Gakkoo  wa  8 ji  ni  hajimari-masu.   /   School starts at 8 am.
